Ingredients

water (or milk for a creamier texture)

fresh or frozen blackberries

honey

Instructions
Combine oats, water or milk, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the oats are tender and the mixture thickens.
Remove the pan from heat and stir in the blackberries.
Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl and drizzle with honey.
If desired, top with a splash of milk or cream for extra richness.
Notes
You can add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.
For a heartier breakfast, you can add a scoop of protein powder or a handful of chopped nuts to the oatmeal.
Leftover oatmeal can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
