Brown Sugar Apple Wheat Berry Yogurt Parfaits
This parfait combines cooked wheat berries, diced apples, crunchy walnuts, and creamy yogurt, topped with cinnamon and brown sugar.

cooked wheat berries

plain yogurt (Greek or regular)

Instructions
If you don't have cooked wheat berries, cook them according to package directions (usually around 45 minutes). Let them cool completely before using.
In each jar or glass, layer half of the cooked wheat berries.
Next, add a layer of diced apples.
Sprinkle with half of the walnuts, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
Top with half of the yogurt.
Repeat layers in the second jar or glass.
Notes
You can use any type of apple, but a sweet and crisp variety like Honeycrisp or Pink Lady works well.
Feel free to substitute walnuts with other nuts, such as pecans or almonds.
